The paradigm and system of acupuncture and East Asian Medicine treats underlying patterns of imbalance in the body, and not just symptoms. Because of this, most ailments can be addressed, as well as complementary support for Western diagnoses and treatments.
Whether it is physical pain, chronic or acute illness, life transitions, general feelings of anxiety, or a overall sense of not feeling quite like yourself, acupuncture and East Asian Medicine can help to subtly search out what needs to be balanced in your unique presentation to help provide relief. Whatever it is you are struggling with:
Yes. Acupuncture Can Help.

ELECTRO ACUPUNCTURE
A small tens unit that attaches to the acupuncture pin to create a low vibration deep to where the pin is inserted. In the LUPINS Clinic this is most often used to relieve pain, and assist in dilation and labor in pregnancy.
MOXIBUSTION
The burning of compressed rice-sized wools of the plant Artemisia vulgaris (Chinese mugwort) at specific points of the body to warm, build fluids, tonify the point, or ease soft tissue.
HERBAL MEDICINE
Herbs will be prescribed if the pattern we are treating requires additional support. They may be given as a supplement, a tincture, or a strong tea. Over the counter Western herb remedies are available in the clinic as well, and do not require a prescription.
